KT head coach Lee Kang-cheol broke a four-game losing streak with a strong baseball performance.

After starter Wes Benjamin was tagged for three runs (unearned) on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts, Park Young-hyun picked up his first win in relief. He was followed by Kim Min-soo, Joo Kwon and Park Se-jin. In the fifth inning, with the score 8-3, Benjamin was removed from first and second base to bring up Park Young-hyun.
It was the 10th hit of the KBO season, the 1055th of his career, and the second of KT’s season. Among them was Kang Baek-ho, who went 3-for-3 with four RBIs, two doubles and one run scored. Kim Sang-soo had three hits and Park Byung-ho, Jang Jang-woo and Lee Ho-yeon provided support with multi-hit performances.
