Real eyeing Liverpool full-back as they look to bolster flanks

By Han Jae-hyun Reporter= Real Madrid (hereinafter referred to as Real) has targeted one of Liverpool’s powerhouses, Andrew Robertson, to bolster its flank defense.

British media outlet ‘The Mirror’ reported on the 24th (KST), “Real are monitoring Robertson’s move. Robertson could part ways with the Reds this summer,” the Mirror reported.

Robertson is an integral part of Liverpool’s defense alongside Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

He has three years left on his contract with the Reds, but is understood to be playing the parting shot. Liverpool are in danger of failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. Even if fourth-placed Manchester United draws with Chelsea on Saturday, the Reds will miss out on UCL tickets. Missing out on the UCL gives players a reason to leave.메이저사이트

Real failed to win the league and UCL this season. The problem was their defense. With Per and Mendy struggling with injuries, it’s no wonder they’re interested in a top-quality fullback like Robertson.
