‘Queen’ Ga-Young to win 6th LPBA title in her career! She faces Kim Min-Ah, the first finalist in a year!

‘Queen’ Kim Ga-young (Hana Card) is back in the final for the 10th time since her LPBA debut. Her opponent was Kim Min-ah (NH Card), who reached the final for the first time in a year.

On the 17th, in the quarterfinals of the ‘Gyeongju Blue One Resort LPBA Championship’ held at Blue One Resort in Gyeongju, Kim defeated Kim Bomi (NHK) with a set score of 3-1 (11-8, 11-4, 7-11, 11-10).

In doing so, Kim reigned supreme in the LPBA, reaching her second tour final in three months after the SK Rent-a-Car World Championship on March 11, and her 10th career final.먹튀검증

In the first set, Kim took the lead with back-to-back points. By the fourth inning, Kim had scored seven points, while Kim Bomi had only one. In the fifth inning, Kim started to pull away with back-to-back points. However, once she took the lead, Kim rattled off nine points in the eighth, including a bank shot, to take the first set 11-8.

With the score tied at 4-4 in the second set, it was Kim who racked up the points, just like in the first set. Kim Bomi was unable to catch up. The match went to a third set with Kim taking a huge 11-4 lead in the second set.

Kim got lucky in the ninth game of the third set, scoring three straight points to take a 10-6 lead after a brief lull in the action, but she couldn’t hold on for the final point. In the 10th game, Kim had another chance but could only manage one point. Kim Bomi was on set point for the third time. She made a last-minute bank shot to take the set 11-7.

In the 10th game of the fourth set, Kim jumped out to a huge 9-2 lead. Kim struggled with the ball for a long time, but her frustration was short-lived. In the 11th game, she started her onslaught with a bank shot. The score went from 2-9 to 8-9. The two nose-to-nose players took turns scoring to set up a nail-biting match point. In the last minute, Kim scored one to punch her ticket to the final at 11-10.

Meanwhile, her fellow quarterfinalist Kim Min-ah defeated Oh Soo-jung in a tightly contested set, 3-2, to set up a showdown with Kim Ga-young.

Kim took the first set 11-8, but Soo Jung Oh fought back to take the second and third sets 11-9 to keep things close. However, Kim rallied back to take the fourth set 11-7 and then took the fifth set 9-4 to reach the final for the second time in a year.

The LPBA final between Kim Min-ah and Kim Ga-young will take place on April 18 at 9:30 pm.
