Takahashi Ran (22-Japan) is set for a third season in professional volleyball’s top league.
Italian Serie A1 club Volei Milano announced its 14-player roster for 2023-24 on 30 May (KST). Takahashi is the seventh player to be named.
According to the Confederation of European Volleyball (CEV) rankings, Italy has been ranked No. 1 for six consecutive years since the 2018-19 season. Their 37 CEV Champions League finals appearances (19 wins, 18 runners-up) are the only ones ahead of the USSR+Russia’s 32 (25 wins, 7 runners-up).

With these achievements, she joined Palavolo Padova in the 2021-22 season and spent two years with the club, finishing 11-5 in Serie A1 and 5-7 in the Italian Volleyball Association Cup.
