DeGrom’s first demonstration game ‘100 mile blast’

Jacob deGrom (35), who had been straining the Texas Rangers with a side injury, threw hope for a revival in his first exhibition game after transferring.

On the 20th (Korean time), Texas held a 2023 demonstration game against the Seattle Mariners at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, USA.

On this day, deGrom started as a starting pitcher for Texas and threw 34 pitches (28 strikes) in 3 innings, striking out 4 with 2 hits and no runs. 바카라

In addition, deGrom threw the ball for the highest 100 mph on the day, and maintained a velocity of 97 to 99 mph all the time. Digesting his first exhibition game in normal condition.

DeGrom left Texas last month with pain in his left side, which strained Texas. However, deGrom did well in live BP and minor league games afterwards.

Now, deGrom will focus on increasing his innings for the rest of his career. Of course, there is no reason to rush. DeGrom’s goal is to start 30 games in one season, not the Opening Day.

DeGrom has failed to fill a regulation inning for the second year in a row since the shortened 2020 season. He has only pitched 156 1/3 innings in 26 games over the past two years.

Texas signed deGrom to a big five-year, $185 million contract this winter. Attention is focusing on whether deGrom will be able to cut off Texas’ FA brutality.
